Fuel Economy with Stage 1's

A buddy of mine has a 96 f350 with 4.10's. He is looking into getting a set of Stage 1 injectors. He was wondering what kind of fuel mileage he could expect with the new injectors and his 4.10's.
Thanks for any replies. Great Site!!

It will depend on his tunes and how much his foot is in the throttle.
If he drives sensibly and has good tuning, he should be able to match his mpg now.

I agree with Jim. In my case I actually saw an improvement in mileage with my Baby Swamps. I attribute the improvement to the care in matching and tolerancing Swamp puts in his injectors.

I have gotten 17.4 with my baby swamps. I also have 4.10s but my transmission has been regeared a little. When I go 72, I'm at 2000rpm.
