Re: fuel system
Bean's SD based fuel system will work on any OBS truck. Just have to decide whether or not its worth it. If you do a search for Tom S or TimC63 you can find out how to do it for less cost. Or PM them and they can refer you to their posts. Bean's uses some premium filter system components and other parts that drive the cost of his system up and there are less expensive options available if you do it yourself without shortcutting the quality filtration aspect.

Re: fuel system
It can't push to much fuel. Regulated return system on these trucks.
The OBS fuel system is a regulated return system, so heat isn't much of a problem at all. I think it was ITP that experimented and showed that the fuel cooler didn't change the temp by more that 2-3 deg F.

I get them from NAPA up here at 27th St and Bell, they had to order from a regional warehouse and that took a week.

Re: fuel system
Well its in a plain brown box with no markings and I cant find the receipt. But it was 30 something.
I just told them the Stanadyne number (533911) and they crossed it over to a NAPA number, the filter I got has the stanadyne number on it
Ive got an extra filter. Do you want to use it and then you can replace it when you get one?
