Gauges or Tranny Issues
Alright so My trans temp gauge is reading pretty high temps, usually it tops out at 250* which is as high as it goes. I want to know what is wrong and how to fix it. Heres what I've done so far to attempt at making it stay around 140* where it should be.
*Replace stock cooler and hoses w/ (30,000 GVW Flex-a-Lite)
*Changed Temperature Sending Unit
*Checked Ground
My next guess is its the gauge, cause at if i were to leave the truck idling itd read the trans temp at 250* and Ive measure the surface temp of the oil pan when the gauge read 230* and the IR thermometer said it was 115*.
Im so lost when it comes to electronic things, please help! lol
