Gear Question

Hey guys im changing out my front gears in my dana 60 just wondering if anyone has any opinions on the genuine gears? Anything bad about them? Anything else you would recomend.

i had a friend that used a set he said they worked really well and if you bought the install kit they warranty them for life did you trash a dana 60

1988 crew cab 4x4 idi in trash can 97 powerstroke engine in and running stong burning atf nothing like free fuel, update pieces of the head gasket laying on the frame stretched headbolt was the cause oops

Thanks for the quick answer, no i did a dana 60 swap and my front ratio does not match up with the rear so im doing a swap

Tons of guys run the genuine gears brand ring and pinions without a single problem. Just make sure you follow the break in procedure and you will be fine.

Great thanks guys, another quick question what were the options on gear ratios in these trucks stock? 4.10 or 3.55 correct?
