Re: Getting ready to do some hp upgrades

The '97 has a TS 4 position chip, 6637 intake filter, CCV housing removed. 3" DP, 5" stacks. as far as I know stock trans without any mods.

the '96 has a DP-Tuner PCM, Sonix valve and tri springs in trans, same intake and exhaust as the '97.

future wallet allowed mods, BTS trans and DIY injectors for the '97.
the '96 is another story....

Isspro gauges in both. pyro, boost, trans and water temp. 4x4 and 4:10 gears, stock suspention with the addition of an add-aleaf in both.

A '96 F250 Reg cab with 210K miles, Needs to go away. PM me.
'86 359 Peterbilt SHORT HOOD. The ongoing "project" it aint pretty but its got a 425 air to air Cat motor .....13 speed Eaton. Corvette Dash, 17 gauges, 8" black stacks, 63" flat top---> 36" sitting here waiting for paint. 1.305 Million Miles.

I don't know what I am doing, I just know I don't have time to do it.

Re: Getting ready to do some hp upgrades

sounds like you're on the right track. im at about the same point. i got a BTS trans on monday, and now im looking for horsepower. you can do it either way, injectors first, blow up the tranny, and then get a good one; or get a good tranny first, and not have to worry about it.

now i need to install my intercooler, get some stage II's, a SD pump, and a Wildman chip to start off. then later on down the road a fuel system, some big oil, and an H2E. i cant wait. -marty
