If you look at Ritcher69 truck or car stuff, he's got a rebuild of an E40D. Jon is very knowledgeable about this area. You can ask him how he knows so much. Keep us posted, Carl.

I pleaded for a tranny forum or somthing to the effect but the mods dont give a squat. In my sig at the bottom is a build, racerx has one in his sig as well.

Re: good e40d rebuild books

lol ^^^ i hear you on the crappy books, what ian looking for is a place where you can find info on what brian, sunco, and others do to make these trans last. would be nice to have a trans faq. after all i think this is the biggest weakness the ford trucks have,

Re: good e40d rebuild books

I have a freind that is putting together one(4r100) right now for a guy with a f-450 he is rounding up all the good parts he can find, it has been a long road.Hopefully my trans will benifit from this research and trials as well.Man all I want is a trans capeable of holding what I have now and alittle more.I have been talking to Richter 69 about some parts and will soon be getting them .
