mines just ran under the truck and exits under the back by the tailgate.. used i think it was 7/8 or 3/4 inch rubber hose.. and for the breather just unscrew it and turn it around.. face the nipple toward the firewall be carefull there is a oring under the breather housing..

I just flipped the breather around and ran a hose down under the truck. It just dumps out near the axle. I went to NAPA and got a cap to fit over the fitting in the intake housing and cut off the small tube that goes up insdie the intake.
I routed mine w/ heater hose under the truck towards the rear and welded a bung into the exaust and connected the hose into the exaust back by the rearend.

I used the Moroso Crank Case Ventilation kit and welded the bung into the tailpipe at the axle hump and used the checkvalve and diesel rated 5/8" hose to go back to the crankcase breather. Used a hose coupler to mate with the 3/4" 90* off of the breather with the hose looped over the brake booster. Used 4" exhaust pipe to replace the adaptor fitting in the intake. Welded a bracket to the pipe section to bolt into the factory mounting location. Also used the black hose intake hose kit.
IMHO you guys are makeing it way more complicated than need be. Honestly I haven't seen any mess under the truck at all with it just rounted straight down near the axle. It is usually a little moist at the end of the hose but that's it. But to each his own!

I have decided against that (so far) due to complaints about the smell from the crankcase.
I've already purchased that crankcase evac kit and just need the hose for it.

You guys tying into the exhaust: I've seen trucks dyno that puke oil out the dipstick because there's so much pressure in the exhaust, your connection pressurizes the crank case. I've had mine just dump out at the firewall for a couple years now and I forgot it was there. Keep it simple...

Ok I will give you that on a day with no wind at all and sitting at a stop light with the window down I can smell it some. I guess it's just never been that bad where I've felt it necessary to have to run it back to the exhaust. If anything I'd probably just run it back farther under the truck. I have heard of others that have installed it in the ehxhaust and had had it pressurize the crank case causing leaks. One person I remember said they put it in front of their muffler and had that problem. I seem to recall someone else with that problem as well with it mounted back farther too but I don't recall who it was. I guess you could add the check valve as I belive it was Masami saying but then again you have more added to the system. I'm with Jim on this one. K.I.S.
i agree with Jim and Gts, mine just dumps out right at my fuel pumps underneath driverside backdoor. yeah you can see some vapor but rarely can i smell it in the cab unless i have door open and wind is blowing from back to front of truck.
I smell it all the time. I'm going to extend mine back a few feet, and keep it out of the exhaust pipe.
