Thanks, cary

Re: H2e SD 3.5" dn pipe??

Cary,
Just my opinion....
I would use the 3" that the H2E kit comes with. Fit is excellent.
If you need to unload the 4" let me know, when I had the engine out of the 96 I treated the under side to 3 hours of sledge hammering! I can get a 4" in there now!

I don't have anything but this 4", the guy cut the stock Hypermax Dn pipe flange end off to use when he made the 4".

So you have a DP with no turbo flange on it?
Perfect!

Re: H2e SD 3.5" dn pipe??

I have a 4" with flange and a stock HM with the flange cut off. I wonder if I can get a flange and weld it back on?

Re: H2e SD 3.5" dn pipe??

Rick
You guys didnt have any problems getting the H2E downpipe to fit Lukes truck? I still dont have mine right! The Hypermax I had before had 1/2" clearanc everywhere but the new one is several inches over towards the pass side and still hits the firewall. I hammered and pryed and and finally gave up, maybe next weekend I will get a porta power and try again. I gotta get it done so I can get the lover half from the old DP off there and put it on ebay with all the rest of extra stuff Ive collected.

Re: H2e SD 3.5" dn pipe??

Hmmm, did you install it all loose/snugish then align and tighten? Lukes fell right in, a little twisting here and there a little tweeking on the tranny dip stick tube, and in.
