By the way reason I am asking is mine is grinding the flywheel it sounds like. I think the solenoid is bad but I want to replace everything. Flywheel is ok, but starter gear looks really worn. It also cranks somewhat slow so I am getting new batteries as well as mine are over 6 years old.

I have DB I ordered directly from there website. I got the high torque one so it actually turns the motor over with a little speed. Best money ever spent!

Happy with mine. I bought one for my 95, and that was over 3 years ago. It still spins super fast. I'll get another when my 96 needs one too.

I installed the higher torque one from DB electric you wont be disappointed it spins and starts so much faster!I bought longer bolts also it uses only two instead of three, and it is much bigger unit than stock, thus the longer bolts.
I also have the DB high torque and love it.
BUT:
You have to bend the main wire lug 90* and if it's even a little corroded might SNAP OFF like mine did. Simple starter swap gets a whole lot more complicated. Also, those starters are heavier and a pain to get at the wires and nuts/bolts to install. I can swap oem starters in about 5 minutes, that one took me 1/2 hour.
Because of these 2 issues the next starter I needed I got a stock starter from DB. Just wasn't worth the hassles going to the high torque, IMO.
