head studs are in

well got them all in last night. i must say if you have a plasma cutter it is much easier to cut a hole in the firewall instead of tilting the cab . now as soon as i get another h2e i will be good to go. i started working on the intercooler also and a ? do you really HAVE to take all the stuff off the front end? thanks

Re: head studs are in

Great about the head studs, wished I did them when my engine was out. About the intercooler, yes everything has to come off. Not to bad of a job, took me and my father in law most of a day to do it as we'd never done it before.

Re: head studs are in

When I installed mine, I put the tranny cooler in between the front frame rails aligned with the holes in the bumper and for the vert. support I just heated it up with the torch and bent it to clear the ac condensor and the ic. It looks just like it was made that way instead of a wimpy piece of flat strap.
