Help finding a truck.

Guys, I posted this on FTE so those of you that have seen it, I just want to use as many eyes as I can.

I'm looking for the illusive 96-97 F350 Crew Cab 4x4 dually. I'm sick of seeing everone else ride around in their crew cab 4x4 duallys. But I want the OBS. I realize they are hard to find, and I've seen 5 or 6 of them for sale. But I was either too late, or they just don't have enough of the stuff I'm looking for. I would like 5 speed and I want power window. But at this point, I don't care what color or trim packages, just show me what you guys see out there. I appreciate anything you guys might come across. Thanks for your time guys.

Re: Help finding a truck.

You may want to call a Ford dealer and have them do a search for you, they should be able to find them nationwide if they have any. Seems like the small town dealerships always have a few of the OBS trucks sittin on their lot.

Re: Help finding a truck.

Pretty sure that there wasn't a factory issued 4x4 dually, the only one's that I have ever seen have been either a single 4x4 converted to a dually or vice versa.

Re: Help finding a truck.

From what I am finding the F-350 DRW 4x4 was only available cab/chassis

Re: Help finding a truck.

There is/was one local for sale a few months ago. It apparently was a aftermarket package (centurian style). I was told he bought it new from the dealer that way. It was white 4 door dually 4x4. I would own it now if it were not for the red interior. Not my favorite.

It was an auto truck with somewhere around 130k miles. All stock from what i could tell. Havn't seen it latly. Could make a few calls and get a # if your really interested.

Re: Help finding a truck.

75f100, I'm looking at every one I can. While I'm with you on the red interior, and really don't like auto....I'm not gonna count it out until I see it. If you can get a # that would be really cool. But don't waste alot of time on it if you don't want to. That's up to you. But I certainly appreciate anything you can do.

bosefes, I never thought of that. But you are right, that's another option I can try. Thanks.

Vengeance, Factory 4x4 duallys are everywhere.....if you are looking for a Regular cab. The crew cab 4x4 duallys.....either it's a custom ordered truck, or like you said conversion. I've seen several conversions and they were ho hum. But you can tell the custom factory ordered ones. They look all stock, and very nice. They don't have some lame aftermarket seats, or wood grain everywhere. They just look stock, and that's what I'm after.

Thanks for all you imput guys and I really appreciate everyone looking.
