Help Need Quick Advice On SB Clutch Install

I have installed a south bend Con O and have it all put back together when I realize I did not install the thin spacer ring between the flywheel bolts and the flywheel. I assumed everything was new in the kit so I did not put it on there. Everything seemed to go together fine. Do I definitely need the spacer or is it only for the stock flywheel? It will be a huge job to take it apart again. Anyone?

I just called South Bend Clutch and they said you do not need the spacer/washer so that is awesome I wil not have to teat it apart again. Their flywheel is not designed to use it.
