I just got done installing my bdp stage1 injectors in my 95 450 and next on the list is a hpop.I see that alot of people are going to the 2000 model hpop's with these injectors so I have been pricing them at ford.I got on the diesel site and saw that they said I must replace my ipr to the 96 and up model ipr wich is another couple hundred bucks. Is this setup a direct bolt on for my 95.Also is this the route I should take or should I look into another aftermarket pump setup that would be better for alittle more money?
you would be throwing away a lot of good money if you bought one from a Ford dealer, bet you seeing the rebuilts (that is all there is) priced anywhere from 550.00 to 800.00. Bean has the 17 degree pump you need for 450.00 dollars and your guarnteed it's the 17 degree pump.
The ipr you can get on e-bay for less than $90.00. look for a seller by the name of crabmstr. it will be listed as a 99 up ipr, AB I think is the last two letters of the part number. It will work perfectly with your truck and a sd pump. its been proven over and over again. Someone posted that it has slightly reconfigured valving than the AA number and actually works a little better.....
I not 100% sure about the retrofit on a 95. I'm thinking that on some earlier 95's that there is a leak down issue due to check valve location. seems as though the location changed to the present configuration about mid year.......someone who knows will post up soon and confirm that or straighten me out on the subject.
If you got the bucks I would definately consider the twin pumps like Beans stealth. It's a proven fact by bull riden fool and Tubzz's wifes truck that the stealth's extra oil brings out the best with the stage 1's.
Bull riden did some where around 345-350 hp on the dyno with some older burns on his chip, and Wanda's truck was @ 333 hp recently with some issues on the stock turbo......that is just awesome for the stage ones......
The '95 will definately have a bleed down issue. I installed a CRM HPOP and it would air up after sitting about 2 days. Got tired of that so I did what Rich did and modified my timing cover. Link is in my sig. Any questions feel free to PM me.

just bought a sd hopop from dale isley and getting it installed in next few days. speaking with dale he claims there is no bleadown issue, but it sure seems there is one based on opions on this site...and the fact that something is motivating guys to invent mods around it.
do all 95's experience this?
could anyone please explain in more simple fashion (so i guy taht has never been insisde one of these things could understand it) the mod that is linked in radarmans sig?
thanks guys,

gsxr you are correct,i've built my own hpop, however i'm sure the stealth would do the same thing for me. i'm not sure about that terminator thing though just messin with ya. i would recommend dual pumps to anyone with aftermarket injectors.
