I already have a set of factory manual hubs on my truck, but they are plastic and I have been known to overdue it. I have been reading some previous posts and they talk about an installation kit; it looks like you only would need it if you were converting your auto hubs to manual. Because I already have manual hubs, I would just pop out the old ones and drop in the new ones, with no extra parts needed? This sounds like a ten minute job to me, or am I missing something?

I think so. I didn't actually do mine myself, but for what it's worth, I had stock autos before I put in my Warn Premiums and had to get some spindle nut kit thingie. Sounds like a pretty easy job though.

i have autos and was just looking at warn premiums the other day.
i would need the spindle nut kit if i were to do it for the following reason.
ford auto hubs have 3 bolts that hold em on. and the premiums have 6. i would think that if your ford manauls are held on by 6 you would be just fine. but if they are held on by 3 well you know what you need. a guy has the kit and also a separate auction for the hubs right now on ebay.
pn#'s for an f350 are (dont remember what one goes to what but...)

I have manual hubs, but I only have three bolts now. Does this sound right to anyone else?

I've got two sets of milemarkers and a set of OEM manuals and they all have 6 bolts, no idea why yours are different. The important thing is that you have the proper spindle nut locks. Like THESE
Blue
My manual hubs also only have 3 bolts in them -- any way to know if you need the spindle nuts without taking it apart?
Thanks
Jay
