I just got my new Luk clutch and flywheel installed and....

I love it!!! I do have a question for all the others that have had their stock clutch and flywheel replaced, my new one is really really light compared to the stock one. Is that the case with yours? Not that I am complaining, I am just wondering.

It's much lighter than the old one but grips much better!! I've put a bunch of miles on mine now and still love it.

After I put mine in I just about kicked out the headlight when I first went to step on the pedal.
Love it, no more leg cramps from holding the pedal down at lights.

Boy. Reading all the good things and funny comments (kicking out the headlights ) has got me excited. I just ordered my LUK on Saturday. I hope I can find some help to put it in sometime in the next few weeks.

It gets 21-23 mpg consistently (on the highway) and 17 mpg in town. My remaining planned mod list includes Amsoil & electric radiator fans.

Hers: 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic; 2.2Ecotec 4 cylinder. VERY dissapointed in mpg's.

They're pretty cool at first but after awhile it'll stiffen up just like the others and you'll be back to the same old leg cramps....lol
