I know its winter but....

Get out there and take some pics of your trucks~

1996 F-250 extended cab long box five speed. Home made Tymar, 203 Stat, 60 gal in bed fuel cell, 315/75's, no muffler, ebpv welded open 3" to 3" DP, Babies. 290K, still chugging, and still smoking when cold.

UPDATED 8/1/08 Replace so far. 1 LUK flywheel+clutch, 2 thermostats, 2 set of brakes, 1 set of calipers, 5 CPS, 3 sets of tires, 2 Transfer pumps, 1 Injector modual, 1 Computer, 2 Alt, 2 sets of batteries, 1 Water pump, 6 Belts, 1 PS hose, 2 Sets ball joints, 2 set u-joints, 2 carrier bearing, 2 Speed sensors, 1 oil pres sender, 1 temp sender, 4 sets of e-break cables, 1 front fuel tank, 2 rear fuel tanks, 2 set of glow plugs, 6 Glow plug relays, Oil galley o-rings, Turbo pedistal o-rings, EBPV o-rings, 3 sets of Injector O-rings, 1 Vac-pump, 1 new carpet.Total $$$ in repairs v/s miles driven = 3.0 cents per mile. Add fuel to that it jumps to 14.8 cents per mile over the life of the truck.

Well........... Good news was we had a backhoe. Bad news was it was an hour away. I made a land spped record with the backhoe to get back there. Other bad news was it was dark when I got there and it sunk about 5 more inches than what was pictured.

It did try to tip once when we were dragging it out. Had to do it with the boom and plant the stabilizers to get grip to the ground.

Got it out went to the car wash greased everything in about an hour. Nothing broken

what inspired you to drive so close to the water to begin with?

96' F350 4X4. E4OD tranny running Amsoil synthetic, 1 big tranny cooler and tricumulator springs and accumulator valve. Autometer guages, homemade intake, TS 6 position Chip (tuning by Diesel Innovations , Factory AIC, A/C mod, MBRP 4" Exaust, BDP Stage I injectors, Brakesmart trailer brake controller, T/C lockup switch
Soon to be installed: Innercooler (sittin at the shop), Big Oil, Built Tranny, Coolant Filter, HX hose, and some others. 350k miles.

We had a follower and a leader, me in the middle. 3/4 of the drive was gravel roads. It is loaded on a two axle single car trailer, pulled GREAT until you got above 20 mph then it wanted to sway side to side. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

I found these plates at the mall for $8 so I had to buy two. I mounted one on each side of the back of my tool box.

1. truck when i went out to see lukecline,you can say we was stuck
2.smoke(its the only pic i have)
3.don't let the wife drive at the drag strip if you like your tires
4.my last mods BDP 3" intakes and custom GTS 3" y-pipe

thanks,i put the ladder rack on the day i got the truck.i used to be a roofer.been a road boss for 3 years now and just can't bring myself to take them off.it brings out the sleeper value.it does get some funning looks at drag strip.a 4x4 diesel pick-up with a toolbox,ladder rack running in the low 13's. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif[/img]
