I need a new transmission

We went up snowmobiling Last weekend and my stock tranny is slipping like crazy. I have some modifications done to the truck and plan on doing some more. I was wondering if any of you guys knew of a transmission I could get for $2000? Or under. Its an E4OD.Thanx

Re: I need a new transmission

under $2000 aint gonna happen, unless you find one at a junkyard or something. i dont think you can even get a ford reman for $2k. if you want something thats gonna hold up you'll probably be spending around $3000+, it sucks i know, im in the same boat you are right now. send a PM over to Richter69. he helped me get some parts i needed for my tranny for a good price and he'll steer ya in the right direction. good luck man.

Re: I need a new transmission

The best converters themselves are in the $1000 range.
