I dont really know for sure, but I doubt it. The 78-79 uses a lower saddle on each side and the 86 and up only use it on the drivers side. The spring perches are in a different location so I dont see how the same piece could work for both the early and late versions. Keep checking ebay. I know lately all thats been on there have been for 78-79 but Ive seen the other ones on there also.
