why do you need a spring plate i used the ones from the D50 since they were the same as the D60's.

what spring plates are you talking about? the top ones the shocks bolt too? I have a set if thats what you mean, otherwise the D50 ones are the same.

I am sure he is talking about the Driver's Side Lower Spring plate.

I got mine at ford but I don't have the part number handy [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Just go to your local ford and tell them what ya need or to any of the online parts stores.

They run about $50 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I dont really know for sure, but I doubt it. The 78-79 uses a lower saddle on each side and the 86 and up only use it on the drivers side. The spring perches are in a different location so I dont see how the same piece could work for both the early and late versions. Keep checking ebay. I know lately all thats been on there have been for 78-79 but Ive seen the other ones on there also.
