I would like to thank...

Jim Manko, Dave and John at Swamps, Geoff Thomas, and Dale Isley for everything they did that made my truck what it was today.

Driving down the freeway, i see a SD few inches of lift, hill billy roll bar, i see a banks sticker and texas plates, so i flip the chip to "4" and run up next to him, gauge pod, stupid grin, automatic, and he hits the pedal... without even dropping out of 5th(only turning about 1900 RPM) i keep right with him to about 80 from 65, we slow it up a bit, i grab fourth and just walk off like he isnt there...
He follows me off the exit, and pulls up a light and says "nice truck" and i said "Nice try back there..." He gets all upset, and hammers down from the light... again, no chance... friggin' idiots and their banks packs anyways. Now, i dont condone street racing, but i do condone putting the occasion idiot with to much money in their place... OBS Rules.
The chip is going to Twildman though, soon, getting his most extreme program on it.

Re: I would like to thank...

Same here. I did show a female friend a cummins i beat a while back today. Hard to miss red with stacks... They pulled up next to me, luckally they didn't notice me, I was driving my Van. I could have beat them in that also. My dad got some "special work" done on it during one of its tranny rebuilds.

I have had that happen to me before. In my Impala SS. It runs low 14's which is very decent, but I got killed by a K car with a factory turbo and little wagon wheels! That thing ran a high 12!!! Man was I humbled. I still laugh when I think about a factory K car killed me. Glad none of my friends were there to see it. They don't believe it eithor.

Re: I would like to thank...

Yesterday I gave a Ford Diesel Tech friend a ride, he was very impressed, he asked why would you even want a new truck thi sthing would stomp anything iv'e seen come through my bay, I said this thing is nothing those boys back southeast have some monsters, definately fun to have a sleeper, now all i have to do is peel those darn banks stickers off the fender.

We are lucky to have a good group of sponsers that are not greedy and always lend a helping hand or idea, Thanks also

Steve
