idea for a neat swap...

Or not, i dont know much but the negatives about the 6.0. Has anyone ever stuffed one into an OBS? That would be interesting fer sure. and no i would neer consider it... a cummins would be easier lol.

1997 F-250 HD, ext cab, short bed, 5 speed, 7.3 turbo, 3" downpipe, 4" custom built exhaust' Bullydog 4 position chip, egt and boost guages, Bean 160cc stage 1 injectors. Single Mass Flywheel conversion.

There was a guy who put a 6.0 and 5R110 in a CJ7--pretty neat sand runner.
After just having pulled a 6.0 out of an F250, I would not be interested in putting it back in, or into anything else for that matter.

97 F-350, 3" 2 piece downpipe, open air intake, 6 pos. chip from black cloud diesel.com, 4 in. straightpipe exhuast.
NOW WITH 2'nd rebuilt tranny in 3000 miles.
+new vac pump both at 245'000 new starter at 249'000
have since crossed the 250'000 mark , 253 and still gettin up.

Since killed by a red light running durango.

Id take the 7.3 over the 6.0 anyday.

Oh i would NEVER put a 6.slow in my truck, i was really just wondering if ano\yone ever did it! perhapse some pics. i will NEVER dump my 7.3 thats the "Real" powerstroke in my mind. I do a lot of thinking though... if money was no option, we would all see some cool stuff coming out of my garage!

seems to me like the 6.4 without the emissions equipment would be "cooler" than a 6.ho... However you would probably have to be a computer programmer to pull it off...
