it is definitely worth it. best bang for the buck mod ive done only cost me $1.50 for the resistor

- Dp tuner , RDS stg 1's,D66, T444E pedestal, Autometer Z series Pyro/ boost, Diy Idm mod , shimed FPR, ccv mod, Diy Intake, 7.3 IC, Southbend Con o, 3" dp-4" Hog-6" Aussie stacks.
- 3" rsk, rear 2" add a leaf, 35" BFG all-terrains on 16x10 MT Classic II's, xrf ball joints and tie rods.
- line x'd rear bumper, clear headlights, turn signals, cab lights, 3rd brake and tail lights.
- Sittin in the garage, coolant filter kit, 203* stat.
- Next, Adrenaline, fuel syst. etc......

Question

To thouse that have made the IDM mod, did it change anything about the motor sound? : same, louder, quieter?.

I didn't notice anything as far as noise. All it essentially does is opens the injector faster and sooner so it is open longer.

the ressistor it sais that i nead a 1/2 watt type. i can only find one that is 0.6w rest of spec is right. 75.0k ohm metal film and 1% tollerance.

anybodu know if the 0.6w type will work?

Should work. I've heard of buys using 1 watt resistors for this mod.

there is another mod done with a resistor.... it involves a plug near the fuel pressure schrader valve... can somebody post the link or direct me to what it does and how to do it.. thanks

Maybe you are refering to the 10K mod, it has several variants, and also is known as ICP mod because the ICP is the sensor that is involved in it.

Go to "Steve Baz's Page" here on this site and scroll down to "10k Resistor Mod". It will refer to the ICP as IPS but they are the same. Cheers!
