Go down to your International dealer and get them there.

What size DIY's did you get?

Re: injector instructions

Autozone also carries/stocks the Motorcraft GPs for about $8 each. You can check the GPs with an ohmeter to see if they are still good.

If you have the VC's off I would go ahead and just do it. You'll take the GP's out anyway to evacuate the cylinder of any oil or fuel...you're really better off just doing it now than having the do it again later.

Re: injector instructions

Like PSD said, pull the GPs out first to help with the oil evac during the injector install.

I put each one lightly into a vise to ground it, then I used a multimeter set to ohms and touched the harness plug end of it. Less than 1 ohm is what you want; with the exception of one, mine checked out at .6 to .7 ohms.

I just successfully did the injector/GP job last weekend with no issues. Take your time and you'll be fine.

Good luck--
Mike

Re: injector instructions

Well, I got all of the glow plugs out and even bought new ones and decided to check resistance on the old and new ones.Everyone of them checks out at 1.2 ohms.So should I return the new ones and get the 75 bucks back or go on and put em in?By the way i am having a hard time finding a machine shop in my raea that can mill these injector intensifier pistons.I am gonna try the tech colege tomorrow.
