injectors and manual tranny

What are the durability issues as far as upgrading injectors with the 5 speed. I was thinking of bdp 130's. Would I need a new clutch. What else would I be replacing soon?

Re: injectors and manual tranny

A South Bend Clutch Con-O would probably be sufficient with those injectors (Bean would also let you know as well). Cheers!

Re: injectors and manual tranny

I would definately recommend the Southbend OFE clutch, its got a lighter pedal to it, and holds more power in case you tow something heavy and/or decide to do a few more upgrades later on. You will not regret it I promise you. I have baby swamps and a 6 position chip and tow about 6000 lbs with it and you cannot get that clutch to slip if you tried. Few more bucks than the CON O but well worth it, as well as a very smooth and quiet engagement.

Re: injectors and manual tranny

With the 130's you will not have to do the clutch right away, they do not have enough fuel to slip it but will more then likely shorten the life of the DMFW due to the extra power. When you replace it a SBC Con-O will work fine.

Yep the Con O should be plenty. It will hold a little more if you decide to throw some more mods in but if you plan on more after that I'd look at the OFE.
