Intake Hose

Where can I find an 45* intake boot to go from the 3" turbo flange to my 4" pipe off the filter? My stock boot is starting to tear right at the turbo clamp and ive done the ccv mod so im just going to make it all 4" down the the turbo boot.

Thanks

Re: Intake Hose

Dale at tymar sells the superduty upgrade kit, I just bought it myself, goes from the turbo to the cv sleeve, you get the blk SD hose, SD cv bracket, SD cv sleeve, and all hardware.
BTW hows that quadzilla working out, you got pics of it in the truck?

Re: Intake Hose

ok that might have to go with the super duty style.

the monitor works great. however it wont read the boost signal from the obs style map sensor as it is a different signal from the super duty. so i just got a map sensor for a sd and wired it in to the existing sensor leaving the signal wire just for the monitor. this way you dont fry the pcm. other than that it works flawlessly and a lot cheaper than putting 7 gauges in your truck.

sorry no pics but as i dont have a digital camera. if you want some and have a picture phone pm me and i can send you some.

Re: Intake Hose

Ill have to check it out, good idea for the boost, I was thinking bout it ive got the pillar full plus but Im looking to get hpo guage when a white face comes out, fuel pressure, and post pyro, and Im like damn thats 6 guages, u think of it, 2 inches or so each guage thats a foot of space!
Yeah give Dale a call he'll set you up! its about 100 bucks, thats cheaper than ford but most likely spendier than a salvage yard, but there arent any wrecked superdutys where I live.

Re: Intake Hose

you can get fuel pressure on the quadzilla too also it has data loging which saves your highs and lows for everything.
