I dont have any data to back up my opinion but I would say the only REAL advantage to one of the big name CAC's is the fact that it comes with everything you need to install. If you do a SD intercooler you have to find a cooler then the rest of the plumbing, or you could order a kit from GTS. I dont think there is really any HUGE benefit temperature wise...Now the 6.0 CACs are larger than the 7.3 CACs, so those would probably cool ya down a little more.
