Just shimmed the fpr....

...and cleaned the screen. Never, EVER thought it would make that much of a difference! I love the simple-simon mods.

Thanks, Baz. And, thanks for the info, JSPulliam21.

Hey, that's your job! Are you in managment?

Actually, I'm gonna try and get it done before hunting season. Then again, you know how that goes.

I did the EBPV last weekend, went very smooth. I haven't got the TC lockup connected yet because I'me adding a few more wires to give better control. I'm also adding a button on the shift lever to use w/ thumb. The micro switch I have is rated for .5 amp, and the EBPV alone pulls almost 1.5A. I have to go back and add a relay for the EBPV as well as the TC lockup.
So far I've tried it unloaded on exit ramps and yes, it does work very well even without the TC lockup, although you have to slow down a bit then turn off O/D for most effective braking. Kind of noisy w/ the Tymar intake, but sounds cool.

Don't forget to turn the EBPV off when you try to take off. It turns a really nice jackrabbit start into a pitiful attemp to out-accelerate a turtle.

Is the shift lever thumb switch for the brake? If so, which type are you using? And, could you post some pics?

Yeah, apparently it works best when the rpm's are 2,000+.

Thanks for the insight, Daniel.

Gonna head down near Morton/Mosseyrock for deer. And, a little further south for elk - my buddy has a spot he wants to check out. He and his brother-in-law went down there for deer season last year. And, he said it was unreal. Either there, or Rimrock Lake area.

PS. While camping last weekend at Mayfield....I noticed the football scores on one of the papers. Looks like your lil' bro's team did pretty well, eh?

Yeah they smoked Winlock, it was pretty fun to watch, season is looking go this year so far. We have seen a ton of deer around our place this year, he should have a good chance bagging one in front of the house
