K&N Oil filter

Hey guys I have recently switched to using a K&N oil filter and have seen a big dif. With the frams and CarQuests that I used to use the oil was black a few hundered miles after I it changed it. Now with the K&N it is still (somewhat) clean after 1500. Anybody else have similar results?

Re: K&N Oil filter

yea, $21 is pretty steep for something that you will still end up changing every 3-5,000 miles. the oil is already pricey enough.

They aren't that expensive.

I have been running them for a while, but then I ran into that deal at walmart when they were getting rid all of their old Motorcraft Filters and got like 10 for like $4 each! Re: K&N Oil filter

NO, NO, NO! u guys need to try the Donaldson P554105 filter. its twice as long and filters juseven better than a K&N. another plus is it will allow ur engine to hold almost 2 quats more oil due to its giant size. belive me, the bigger the better! look it up on line. or get one at a truck stop. they are ment for a BIG RIG, but fit our trucks. u wont be disapointed, just check it out.
