Power Strokes 1994-1997 Upgrades and AftermarketUpgrading or adding OEM or aftermarket equipment to your 1994-1997 Ford F-Series with Power Stroke engine.
the best pipe for the money are build your own out of of some 3" mandrel bent pipes. You can get it done for 100$ in bends alone.

I hate Dodges, straight piped common rail cummings sound like crap!
I got the 6.0 pipes with my 6.0 intercooler, I tried them everywhich way to Sunday and they were not a direct fit for me. I purchased a set of 99 PSD pipes from Powerstroke shop, they just happened to be changing part numbers and were 50% off. They too were not a direct fit for me, but between both sets of pipes and extending the 99 pipes a few inches on both sides they worked out nicely. Granted I have a MIG welder and chop saw, so I did not have to pay anyone, however, if you do have your pipes extended and they are not TIG welded, you must absolutely insure that your inside welds do not have any debris that will lunch your turbo by sucking in TIG wire or other weld remnants.
Good luck
My understanding is the 7.3 and 6.0 coolers use the same plumbing except for one boot. On the pipes, I plan to run Banks, at around $500 not cheap but sometimes my time is needed elswhere.

Hmmm Sounds like that would take more time than I have available.
I take it there are no prebent pipes to fit a 6.0 cooler?

I used a GTS kit that was designed for a 7.3 cooler. I had to shorten the cold side pipe to the "Y" and add a bend to make it line up with the turbo, but that's only because I've got a H2E and not the stocker. Geoff told me the kit will work with either the 7.3 or 6.0
I just finsihed the install of a 6.0 on my 95, The guy I bought it from gave me extra pipes and rubber couplings. I was able to use the cool side by cutting the pipe and adding a piece of hose. On the hot side I had two pipes exactly the same and used both to make one good one. I also had to add a hose to make up the difference in length, but it made installing them easier. I also had to reroute the power steering cooler hose and move a few other lines to clear the piping. The hot side foil was removed and it reveiled a dimple in the pipe. When I cut it I was able to remove the dimple with a little persuasion. I powder coated them (At home of course) with "chrome" and they look like the were jet coated. All in all it came out really good. Can't wait to install my John Wood trans and test drive.
