Looking for a remote start set up for a 97 F250 5-speed PowerStroke

Is it possible with a non-automatic truck, seems like it would have to push my clutch in, or bypass that feature????

I checked into it once. The system uses a bypass to start. The reason I didn't go with it was 'cause of the mental thing of not leaving the truck with it in neutral consistently.

There are a couple alarms available to use with a manual tranny. There is a procedure you go through when you shut it down that allows you to restart it and if the alarm goes off or is dissarmed at all it will not start. It is fool proof when set up right.

What GTS said(hey Geoff!)

I bought the AutoStart system. It has a ton of cool features, and built in safeties to keep you from driving it through the living room while you get your morning coffee. If I recall it cost me around 80 bucks.

Of course, this is all going off the write-up's I come across, as mine is still sitting in the box
