I found that on the highway if you hold down the pedal (I mean hard enough to down shift, and hold it flat on the floor), when the engine hits orange line it will finally shift back into OD. I don't remember how fast that is. I had a punk a$$ stupid gay baby whale loving bmw trying to pass me after tailgating me (I was passing a semi). Last I saw of him was in my rearview mirror...

far, far behind.
Anyway, it took a few seconds to come back down into the scale on the speedo after I backed out of it.
He was actually bouncing in his seat trying to make his car go faster.
My truck just whistled.
