Low-volume toilets and this split-forum?

When, in their infinite wisdom, the United States Congress adopted new regulations for toilets, they inadvertently created INCREASED water usage due to the fact that several flushes are required to evacuate waste products. (This, of course, gave rise to the suspicion that Senators and Congressmen/women all prospectively purchased stock in plunger companies.)

Whatever the rationale for splitting the 1994-1997 Forum, we are now frequently reading the same post twice. Apparently there is enough confusion about where to post to promote the idea of posting in both forums.

So, was something fixed that wasn’t broken? Remember the SEARCH tool improvement?

ca·thar·tic : Pronunciation Key (k-thärtk)
adj. Inducing catharsis; purgative.
n. An agent for purging the bowels, especially a laxative.
[Late Latin catharticus, from Greek kathartikos, from kathairein, to purge. See catharsis.]

I don't get it......
I like the split forums & the search feature works ok for me.
As for low-vol toilets, the "new" ones are cool. link

Re: Low-volume toilets and this split-forum?

Since we're talking about low-vol toilets, the thing I hate most is the snake-like drain, as can be seen in the bottom pic in the previous link.

Not much of anything I'm puttin in there is gettn' by the snake. it's like a twin turbo PSD with a 1.5inch honda exhaust.

BOT: I don't mind the search feature but someitmes I have to take the results and paste them into google, and look at the cached results as some of the links in the archives no-longer work. I'm not going to tupe much more as I'm sure this post will go buy-bye Being a duplicate

Perhaps we can continue the toilet discussion in the general tech forum.

I like the split forums. Stock threads in one and modified threads in the other. Works for me.
