Cool Mod Questions???

If I'm gonna install a TW chip, are the "cheaper" mods (10K, IDM, EBPV, AIC, HPX) necessary??? Which ones will work with the chip?? Thanks

If it was me, I would go ahead and do the EBPV delete and HPX. They should help with your chip some.

The EBPV delete takes the butterfly warm-up valve out of the turbo housing on the exhaust side. They say it reduces egts a little and helps it breathe. The HPX is a mod that connects both of the high pressure oil rails together that feeds the injectors. Do you need that, Depends on what mods you have/ what you're going to do in the future. Do a search on them and you get a bunch of info on them!

Personally I think the IDM mod works great with any mod. I had Tony put a setting on it for Hi idle might do my own next time to save room on the switch. 10K mod I ditched mine with the chip one guy posted 6hp more with it whoopy doo. Ebpv delete hard to say if it is really worth the gain for the work involved maby if you are a racer. I would do an Adrenalind HPOP and forget the HPX mod especially if you end up going bigger injectors.
just my .02

So why do you say forget the HPX mod when you are going with the bigger injectors? I think it would help them by balancing the high pressure oil rails. x2 on the Adrenaline HPOP & IDM mod.

High pressure crossover lines are no longer needed. We recommend removing your HX hose so that you don't forget about it and let it eventually rupture and leave your stranded. It's not because of excess pressure from the pump or any other secretive reason - it's common sense. Why leave a line on the truck with potential to get old and blow that serves absolutely no purpose anymore

From dieselsites website.
