Ok here goes Im looking to get a little more out of my 97.Currently have 4 inch exhaust,tymar intake,sd hpop,bdp stageII shooters,DP Tuner 4 pos,6.0 intercooler.Looking at different turbo options and fuel systems.Which one would I be better off doing.How about head studs and such also,Do you think I need them.
Where you are now is probably close to 350-400 hp. depending on the burns in your chip. The right turbo, big oil, fuel system, and custom tuning,( to the tune of $5000.00+) could put you around 450 hp. Head studs, no question about it above 400/420 hp, (600.00-800.00+ labor). Terry (Tubzz)with custom nozzles on the Beans squirters, and all of the above made 461 hp/ 923 torque, and he is bending pushrods and breaking rocker arms like crazy.....he is in the process of building another motor to eliminate those problems to the tune of around five grand, plus he has a BTS tranny to handle all that. Give Bean a call, he now has the turbo, studs,big oil, fuel system, studs, and the programming from Tony W. to get you where you want to be.....
