Need 1" More Front Lift/Intake ?'s

Just wondering if they make some sort of small spring pack to raise the front of my truck around 1-2" for the super duty springs.

Also I know the Tymar intake is the best intake, but is the paper filter really the best? What about buying/making a Tymar style intake and putting a different filter on it. I know the paper filter does filter the best, I am just worried about continuously replacing it. Any thoughts?

You could swap you V-codes for some X-codes, that would give you another 1-2" of lift. As far as the intake, from what I've read here, the 6637 filter gives the best flow with the best filtration.

I was thinking an add-a-leaf in the front.

I was just wondering how often you would have to change filters and whether or not there is a good alternative filter.

I thought the same thing when I bought my Tymar but it really isn't a big deal, I replace my filter about once a year whether it needs it or not. The intake tract is always PERFECTLY clean when I replace it. My brother uses a K&N FIPK on his 6.0L Chevy gas motor and there is always dirt in the intake tract. Once a year isn't bad for replacing a filter, I order two at a time from Dale. Also, I do a lot of driving on gravel roads.

As for the Add-a-leaf, you could try a soft ride add a leaf from Superlift it may work for you. Different code springs would be the way to go though.

A add a lift will kill the ride....for 2" get a mini spring pack, it will not affect the ride. X codes will raise it but will stiffin the ride.

Nothing cleans better than a Donaldson filter that tymar uses.

Those little spring packs are more than double the price I paid for my v-codes haha.

Can you just take an air hose to the filter and clean it that way? That may work, and I can swing replacing it every year, thats not bad either.
