Need an Intake...just called Banks holy #@&!

Well I'm trying to find someone with a cheap intake spyder to use with an intercooler. I really like the banks style but I just called them and they want 6 something just for the intake spyder I really dont want to spend an arm and a leg but I dont know of any one with a cheap spyder and im not having any luck finding a early 99 one.

So what are my options? I might just have to make my own.

I have the hot side Banks piece I was looking to sell. How much was the cold side part? I think you are getting a price for the entire pipe kit for some reason.

Re: Need an Intake...just called Banks holy #@&!

couple months ago a friend on mine on this board bought the FULL PIPE kit from Banks (everything needed other than the charger itself) for just over $500 I believe...Sounds like the guy you talked to was a little off, or their prices have SKYROCKETED!

Here's what you need-
25970- Banks Techni-Cooler Systerm 94-97 Ford 7.3L
25504- (delete) Banks Intercooler Assembly 94-97 Ford 7.3L

The 25970 is the entire kit (included the intercooler). The Intercooler part number is 25504. So they sell you the kit but delete the intercooler which is around $1250...

For a current price, you're best bet would be to call Banks directly and tell them what you need. 1-800-601.8072

If you are looking for an intake I would recommend the Tymar. Check with Cary at http://ctperformanceinc.com/index.html

I think they are both good kits. The Banks pipes are painted.
I've heard that GTS can take a while to get orders out. When I ordered my kit from Banks, I had it in a few days.

Depending on the quality, that's a decent price. The kit is for a super duty. For the obs trucks, the pipes would need to be modified...

Thank You for the information! And that includes brackets to mount my 99-03 IC as well?
