need some aux. tranny help
I found a husky old auxiliary transmission up in our barn. Its a DRIVE-ALL with serial number 5034TZ
It has 4 speeds I believe high is direct. The other 3 are underdrives according to the specification on which shaft is input and output.
Can anybody tell me anything about this transmission? Can I put it in my truck backwards so I have overdrives? It says max HP input..5hp?? This is a pretty solid transmission. It weights about 40 pounds. Will it really only handle 5hp?
I still havent found a browing 5831..anyone know of any around? Adelmanns doesnt have any.
