New Alternator and Starter - Anything else to start?
So I am tired of not being able to count on the truck to start in the morning. I have replaced everything in the GP system. The batteries are under a year old and have both been load tested and they test fine, but the darn truck won't start in the morning. I placed my order with DB Electrical, had previous experience with a 200 Amp alternator I needed for my bronco when I was competing in sound competition. I ordered the new gear reduction starter and a 200 amp alternator. I am also ordering an EOT sensor and a Cali FPR Kit. I plan on replacing the alternator, starter, serpentine belt, EOT sensor, shimming the FPR all at the same time. Is there anything else that anyone can think of to make my stupid truck start in the morning?
Known problem is the fuel pump is leaking from the weep hole. Would that affect the starting? It puffa smoke which I though meant it was getting fuel...
