newby-SD springs on a SKY SRK install.

Hi all, I've been ghosting you for a while, and decided it's time to say hello. I'm a regular on the http://www.coloradopowerstrokeclub.com/
forums, but this is my first post here.

I've been doing a lot of reading on the SD spring addition to the OBS trucks, and I'm ready to add a set to mine.
I already have the SKY 3.5" RS kit with stock springs. It helped the ride a little, but not enough.
I picked up a set of SD springs from a 2003 1 ton with a 6.0L.

My questions are in reference to my spring codes being different from the code combination listed on the post containing spring rates.

My front springs have:
2C34 ADB
R 062 3
The R references a 3600# while the ADB coincides with the V code which has a 5200# rate.
so my questions are. . . .
Do I have 3600# or 5200# spring rate?
and if it's 3600#-
Is the 6.0L engine that much lighter than the 7.3L that they can use that much of a softer spring?
Is a 3600# spirng too soft for my truck?

thanks for all your fantastic posts. You all provide a wealth of information.

Chris.

Here's the post I'm referring to.

I wouldn't imagine that the 6L would be that light.
I'm wondering why the R code then.

thanks for the help, I'm sure I'll be asking more questions as the project gets underway.

cheers.
