obs questions

Alright i bought a CCLB to replace my Dodge kind of. i am going to swap my 12v and 5 spd into the ford. the truck already has a 5spd will i have to cut the floor to fit the nv4500 ?? what is the best way to add a intercooler ?? The frt is a dana 60 but what about the back ?? dana 80 or a sterling ?? going with gears and lockers frt and rear. lastly what's involved in putting SD lift kit on a OBS ??. This is going to be a frame off build. it's something i always wanted is a awesome 4x4 family hauler/log truck etc been looking at bumpers by either fab fours or buckstop ?? ANY input would be awesome.

My finally goal is a mineral grey CCLB 4:56 gears with micheln xzl tires dual frt shocks air bags in the rear and tractionbars lockers frt and rear, interior mostly stock with camo seat cover cdplayer window tint under the hood 12v cummins 550 ish hp with 12?? ish torque sbc with a nv4500 and a nv271 case. frt and rear bumpers with winches. this will be my last all out build so i want to do it exactly how i want to, Thanks, JR

I have no experience with a Cummings conversion. I have read a couple of articles about it so I equate that with sleeping at Holiday Inn Express.

I would assume the Cummins is a longer engine and if so, I would think a little hammering on the firewall and a little cutting on the floor board for the shifter will be required. Should be a fun build.

your correct your truck has a dana 60 up front if its a 350, in the rear it has a ford 10.25 which is a very solid axle. most parts for these trucks can be found out of lmc or national parts distributer. i had my camo bench seat cover custom made and it came out awesome. with even a cover for the center arm rest.

For the suspension lift you will need a reverse shackle kit for the front from either sky manufacturing or oru
