off road lights

im putting in a set of hella 500's in and i want to wire them into my high beams dose anyone kne the wire that goes to the high beams so i can use it for a signl??

My book says light green/black and red/black are the hots to the headlamp socket, and I think it's the lt gn/bk one. It's raining hard now and it's late; if you can wait until morning I'll go look. I did the same thing and used the hibeam lead as the signal to two relays feeding a pair of 2-lamp (55w ea) Hella wide-beam work lights (lights up front yards and roadsides for a long way) and a pair of rubber tractor lights with 100w GE Par36 aircraft landing spots. These and the xenon Optx 80/100w headlamps all come on together; instant daylight, and it gets the attention of oncoming ninnies with their brights on, too.

hey man, i got the same setup with the 100w APC Upgrade harness, i can see like its day, i dig it, ive to much to drink, but its a great setup!
