Re: outerwears filter cover

Talked to Dale @ Tymar about this...long story short the Baldwin filters are water resistant and won't aborb water unless they are submerged for a day or so...all the outerwear will do is cut down on the airflow of the filter...unless you are driving through really DEEP water, he said the baldwins work great.

Re: outerwear's filter cover

I have been thinking about getting one just to cover up the filter. A nice color matched cover would look better than a filter laying on the fender. The Tymar system in both my F350 and Excursion work great but they have that unfinished look to them. You can check out outerwear's web site HERE. They have a page where you can custom order any size so it would just be a matter of measuring the filter and ordering the cover.

Edit: I just measured the filter and filled out the custom order form. I will let you know what they say as far as price. The reply said they will contact me within 48 hours.

Re: outerwear's filter cover

That would look alot better than just the plain filter, it will be interesting to see the price.
