Oval Back up lights

I was wondering how bright they are?

The 6inch oval led back up lights on Ebay. I want an Aux reverse light and want them to be concealed like quadzillas but i have the body lines in the bumper. So i got to thinking and maybe be this will be an option. I just need more light, i have my rear window tinted and cant see.

The night lights that go around the hitch would last 5sec with as often as i hook up and pull. and i just bought a set of flood lights that are square and i cant seem to like the look.

Hope someone says there bright and maybe i will give others ideas as well. Jordan

Re: Oval Back up lights

My buddy has a pair, said they arent as bright as a regular light would be as in putting light on the ground, looking at them they are brighter but the regular old lights throw more light behind....but they do look cool

Re: Oval Back up lights

jray they also make lights just like that but in regular bulbs but I'm not sure how bright they are though LEDs are brighter but they are more directional while the reguler bulbs spread the light around better if you want more choices if you have a big rig shop or at least a truck stop close by they usually have a good selection and them step you were asking about I was planning on adding back up and turn signal lights to mine just a thought as they would help light up what might be beside you too

Re: Oval Back up lights

I guess These are pretty decent, no personal experience but heard well about them, also These white night backup lights look pretty slick and would help.

Re: Oval Back up lights

yeah 55 watters will get ya some light...I have used 35 watt H3 bulbs and they were pretty good so 55 should be real good.
