Paint

Well I know that this will probably get moved right after I post but... has anyone heard of a paint brand called "Alsa?" I am going to repaint my truck that is one brand I was looking at, I am going for the chameleon style so if you have any other suggestions as to a good brand?

Re: Paint

Never heard of it. I was wondering something about camelion paint. Is that the paint that changes color in the sun light?

It gets 21-23 mpg consistently (on the highway) and 17 mpg in town. My remaining planned mod list includes Amsoil & electric radiator fans.

Re: Paint

Alsa is decent stuff but I've never used it. PPG, DuPont, and HOK have excellent systems with their color shifting paints and are very user friendly.

Man, I'd hate to see what it would cost to paint a CC with that stuff! Woof! Cheers!

Re: Paint

Not to plug a website, but I am currently (slowly) working on a website for painting cars. Keep an eye on it as it progresses for lots of automotive paint related info. - Runboys Online Body Shop

Re: Paint

Just remember that when it comes to automotive paint, you generally get what you pay for.
Are you subject to V.O.C. regulation in your area?

I would recommend the following brands in this order - Dupont, Glassurit, PPG.
