Re: performance brakes

thegreg92,

You can't go wrong with the Powerslots and Hawks's We sell them after I tested them on my truck and my wife's Navigator and they are very very worth the cost. Plus they aren't much more than a stock name brand set of rotors and pads anyway. No fade, no vibration nothing. I have had 4 SD's all of them with some degree of brake problems, wish I had gotten involved with Powerslot and Hawks a few years ago!!
Many many race vehicles use slotted and some use drilled rotors, however for our trucks you do NOT want drilled as they will crack no matter how they are camfered! On race cars the rotors are tossed pretty quick so who cares if they heat crack. Look at the Cyro'ed rotors, top material and they hold up waaaay better especially concerning shudder and steering wheel vibrations etc.

Give us a call if you want we'll be glad to help you on questions etc.

Re: performance brakes

I just put in Cryo'ed Power Slots and hawk Super Duty pads along with braided stainless front brake lines and flushed out all the old fluid with new and I love it. Great stopping power and as Mark Craig said, no fade, no vibration, nothing. Next comes rear disks.
