Re: Pic's of TN 72 and Spearco

what are the details on the intercooler? Was it custom, or was it a part number already available? what are they asking for one of those anyway? I have briefly looked into Spearco and I did not see any 7.3 replacements that I recall..

Thanks in advance!

Re: Pic's of TN 72 and Spearco

It is not a direct fit replacement, just a Spearco 6.0 replacement. It can be had from Black Widow Diesel as can the turbo.I will get it in truck as soon as I get the time to do it,hopefully in the next month.I got my friend machining a spacer mount for the Hypermax pedestal. The DP is a 4" late model design.I will us it to get eliminate some of the fabbing, hopefully I will take lots of pics so y'all can get a good view of what is involved.

That is a 6.0 Spearco. The 7.3 and 6.0 intercoolers have been around for a while. Cliff's new set up needed max cooling, so he got the 6.0 version. His turbo is a SuperT 72MM with some custom tweaks. I'll let Cliff discuss his goals, which now are within reach.....

Bigr-Cliff will start with this, and if he needs more, we'll get it swapped for something more.

Well, having dynoed an early 99 with a TN 70MM & Spearco 6.0, it made 477/864 @ 2900 in the 80 HP setting-then the generic triple disc torque converter gave up. Now that it has a Suncoast with billet input, maybe we can go back and finish.

Cliff needs about 486 RWHP to go 12's. I'd say no problem......
