How can i go about putting pozie in my 95 250 4x4 without spending a ton of money anbody got a unit around? what size do I need and all of that stuff. Thanks!!!!!!!!
Well I doubt GM is going to build you a posi for your truck! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img] Positraction is actually just GMs name for limited slip. Ford's is Tracloc. In any which case your gearing has nothing to do with it unless you are going to take the diff out of another axle. If you have an open diff now you might be better off looking into an aftermarket set up. You can get them that are better than the factory parts. None of them are really cheap though. How much you looking to spend? If it were me I'd get the new e-lockers that are limited slip normally until you flip the switch then they are full lockers.
In the for sale section there is an ad for front and rear gears and carriers from a 97 for $200. It doesn't say if it is LS or not but if it is all you need is the rear carrier.
