hard to say, a SD pump does see an increase in volume, However the most desirable pump is distinguised by a hump in the rear cover. That is the only distiguising charteristic that i can tell. Nobody i know of has been able to find a coorelation between that specific pump and a part #

As of now, I have an unhumped hpop and bdp stage 2's and I cant get a cel. My hpo in extreme doesnt drop any lower than 2500 at wot.

you'll need to do an accumulator with a sd pump and 95 frt cover to avoid the drain back issue.

Yeah, in that case you won't need the accumulator. As long as the engine has a 97 front cover.

Only the '94 - '95' engines need the accumulator, so your '97 will be just fine as is!
My '95 works just fine WITH the accumulator...so there is a happy ending to all years! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
