The hump is about the size of a silver dollar and humps out maybe 1/8 of a inch on the 3 inch flat disk on the rear of the pump.

That's correct...that is the one you want. I believe that pic came from the set I took a couple of years ago prior to putting it in my truck. Your welcome to look at the photo's in my sig, as I took several different views..if that helps.
So, if that is the hump you are seeing, (shown in the link above)..or in my photo's....that is the one you want!

Mine happens to be an '02 also..if that helps. I'm now wondering if the hump pump only came in specific years?

Not all 99 and up SD have that hump on the pump. My 00 with the original pump is flat backed. I do not have a problem maintaining 3100 psi at WOT in any setting of the chip. Go figure that one out?
