Is this the dually your working on?
If NOT, I would guess with stock fuel system low 15's.
Put some juice in the fuel, something to raise the C tane.
If you got a single peel, your going to have to do 4x4 launchs.
And do not even trie to get your tire(s) hot in the water in the burn out area. Might consider dropping tire pressure down. I think I had mine down to 40 or 45 when at the track. Normally I run them about 60 unless loaded down then 80.
And yes you will have smoke, I do not thing tons of it aftering watching lukecline with his stage 2's. He was able to almost clear it all up. Which is good that means your using what your putting in the cyl.
On changing the HPOP, I think if it was me, I would do it all at the same time. That way only gotta drag the tools out once.

Do the hpop now so that when you go to start you dont have to second guess weather somethin is wrong with it, do one mod at a time so if there is a problem you know where it is.
