I've got a Hercules 8 or 10" SS Drop bumper on my truck (made in Georgia). My truck was recently hit by a woman running a red light. I am trying to figure out the value of the bumper when it was new, can anyone give me a ballpark figure on what it might be worth? There are pics of it in my webshots.

Have you tried calling Hercules? I found:
Hercules Bumpers Inc.
PO Box 469, Pelham GA 31779, United States

On March 5, 1996, the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Hercules Automotive
Products, Inc. ("HAP"), announced that it would immediately close its
manufacturing plant in Pelham, Georgia. The market for the bumpers produced in
Pelham, Georgia, has significantly changed during the past year. Historically, a
significant percentage of business at HAP was for sales to new truck dealers.
Competition from OEM manufacturers has made it extremely difficult for HAP to
remain competitive in this market segment. Accordingly, HAP incurred a loss in
1995 and has incurred losses in 1996 as a result of the continued erosion of
business to auto dealers.
Casey, I have a J&J Enterprises 10" drop bumper. I bought it about two years ago. I believe it cost about $400 plus the freight. I bought it at www.esitrucks.com, and at the time they were giving a discount for being a member of the Powerstroke Registry. J&J also has a site www.j-jent.com and they are in Chico, CA. Good luck, and don't let the insurance company bully you. Matt
